As a HammondCare Biography Writing volunteer in South East Sydney, your listening and writing skills will allow HammondCare residential clients to record their stories, memories, and messages for loved ones.
Skills Required - Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word
- 50 words per minute typing skills
- Ability to work independently and problem solve
- Willingness to learn new technology and software (using a Dictaphone and transcription software)
- Availability for a long-term commitment of up to 5 hours per week (transcription and editing can occur in the evenings; face-to-face interviews on weekdays between 9am-4pm for one hour)
