About the role
The Manager, Research Ethics and Integrity provides significant expert advice and leadership in the development, implementation, and maintenance of research governance activities including establishment of frameworks, policies and procedures, resources and training related to Research Integrity, Research Ethics and Institutional Biosafety. The position manages research compliance activities and processes to provide excellent service for our key research stakeholders and facilitate research at the University.
You will:
Provide expert technical knowledge and strategic advice and analysis to the University on research ethics and research integrity matters;
Manage and develop the Ethics, Integrity and Biosafety team and processes, including management of allegations and potential breaches of the Australian Code for the Responsible Conduct of Research;
Lead and manage achievement of the compliance and governance goals, priorities, and KPIs.
About you
Reporting to the Director, Research and Innovation, you will possess established subject matter expertise in research ethics and integrity, preferably in a higher education sector setting. With a track record of providing trusted advice to a range of stakeholders, you will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
You will possess:
Demonstrated high-level skills in analysing, designing, developing and implementing continuous improvements to significant business processes, policy, plans and strategies;
Extensive experience in systematic review, development and implementation of frameworks, policy, procedures and processes;
Demonstrated understanding of data integrity and governance;
Extensive experience and proficiency with research management information systems.
