The opportunity to join our team

Join our team as the Marketing Manager, Acquisition & Member Welcome (Onboarding - First 12 Months), where you'll take the lead in innovative marketing strategies to support the growth of IFL's consumer marketing propositions, including ANZ Smart Choice Super and MLC Direct. In this role, you'll focus on driving seamless engagement across the member welcome and onboarding journeys, ensuring new members have a smooth and effective experience right from the start.

You will be responsible for developing and executing marketing plans to drive acquisition across consumer-facing brands like MLC and ANZ Smart Choice Super while managing member welcome and onboarding for all brands. Additionally, you'll implement strategies for 1:1 member communications, support campaign execution, and work closely with internal teams, key stakeholders, and external suppliers to ensure successful program delivery. You'll also oversee creative development, manage customer journey enhancements, and execute cross-channel campaigns across paid, owned, and earned media to maximise acquisition touchpoints and engagement.

What you will bring
  • Degree in Marketing, Business or a related field
  • 7+ years' experience in financial services marketing, with a strong focus on B2C audiences and experience in banking, wealth, and superannuation
  • Understanding of superannuation, banking, wealth, retirement, and investment landscapes, drivers, and sector challenges
  • Proven experience in customer-contact strategy and execution with knowledge of marketing and direct customer campaign activity
  • Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Risk mindset with the ability to identify, understand, and act on current and future risks
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, relationship building, and influencing skills
