Business Developer / Sales Development Representative

This is a fantastic opportunity working for a well-established growing company based on the outskirts of Chester for an Outbound Sales Executive. The successful candidate will be a key member of a well-organised and highly motivated team, responsible for contacting new clients, discussing the benefits of using the business services and products while maximising every opportunity. The New Business Sales Executive will join a dedicated and motivated team and will work within a well-known, recognised brand. The Outbound Sales Executive can also enjoy a very competitive commission structure with an OTE of £30,000 and the ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

The working hours are 9am till 5pm Monday to Friday.

The Outbound Sales Executive will earn £25,000 per annum plus commission. Additional benefits include holidays linked to length of service, attendance bonus, company bonus, social events, and onsite parking.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Making outbound cold calls to book appointments for the Business Development Managers
  2. Qualifying new leads
  3. Actively pursuing dormant prospects
  4. Identifying opportunities by profiling potential clients using fact-finding techniques
  5. Building and managing own pipeline
  6. Communicating with Field Sales team
  7. Entering and updating leads and opportunities in the database

Being a hard worker, proactive, and enthusiastic.

Team worker in a sales-oriented environment.

Self-motivated, confident, and capable of using their own initiative.

Ability to identify and create opportunities.

Excellent organisational and time management skills.

An ability to speak to senior managers in large organisations to generate business leads and appointments.

A willingness to make numerous calls with the resilience to cope with challenges and objections.

Must be highly skilled with good experience in a telesales role.
