Role overview:

We have an exciting opportunity for a HR generalist to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic chance to apply your HR skills across a range of functions, including EA interpretation, partnering with our front-line managers, systems, and projects. In addition, you will also have the opportunity to support in Talent, Industrial Relations, Learning & Development, Diversity & Inclusion, and/or Workplace Health & Safety.

This role is ideal for a true generalist looking for the next step in their career.

To succeed in this role, you will need to manage multiple priorities across multiple teams on a daily basis. A flexible and proactive attitude is essential.

You will be responsible for:

  • Provide generalist HR advice in relation to employee matters to frontline leaders
  • Support frontline leaders with the onboarding of new staff and providing guidance through the probation period
  • Support the implementation of HR systems and processes and updating current systems and processes to maintain best practice
  • In collaboration, review current programs within the People, Partnering and Engagement team
  • Partner with the broader People and Culture team in the development and implementation of initiatives guided by the 2025 People and Operating Plans.

About you:

  • Knowledge of HR principles and contemporary practices across a number of HR disciplines such as recruitment, learning & development, recognition, HR systems that add value to business performance.
  • Understanding of Equal Opportunity Act and Anti-Discrimination Act, Bullying and Harassment and other applicable legislation.
  • Understanding of HR data and systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with all stakeholder levels.
  • Working knowledge of Enterprise Agreements and awards.
  • A continuous improvement mindset.
