THE ROLE

Are you passionate about providing administrative support in a HR/P&C environment? Are you looking for opportunities to contribute to P&C operations at an administrative level? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

We are looking for a highly motivated People and Culture Administration Officer to join our supportive team. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assist the People and Culture team with day-to-day tasks and enquiries that come through the P&C email inbox and Head Office phone
  • Provide administrative support to the P&C department, including managing employee files, data entry, and maintaining employee files
  • Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job advertisements, initiating reference checks, and requesting pre-employment checks
  • Prepare employee paperwork, including contracts and contract variations
  • Set up new hires and accurately input and update employee information on relevant systems
  • Process terminations and resignations on relevant systems
  • Manage and organise the P&C inbox, responding to enquiries in line with knowledge/experience, and escalate to other P&C team members or departments as applicable

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and seek guidance when needed
  • Exceptional attention to detail in reviewing and documenting information
  • Accurate and efficient data entry skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Ability to learn and navigate different systems quickly
  • Willingness to learn and follow relevant protocols and procedures
  • Previous experience in administrative roles, preferably in HR or data management (Desirable)
  • Experience with MicrOpay, TANDA, Sharepoint, or Airtable (Desirable)
  • Previous experience working with sensitive information while maintaining confidentiality (Desirable)
