About the opportunity
We're pleased to invite applications for the People Business Partner - Australian Operations as part of our Regional Business Partnering team in Adelaide SA.
Based in Brompton, SA and reporting to the Regional People Partnering Manager, your key focus will be to support the Operational business implement the People Strategy.
Your experience balancing strategic projects with operational day-to-day activities is critical.
As a key member of the Business Partnering team, you'll support leaders in providing expert advice, insights, and implement the people strategy within the Operational business. Critical to the team's success is the ability to work together to drive consistency across Australia, NZ, and South Asia in the application of People policies and processes. As a trusted business partner, you will share your Operational Insights to help inform future People strategies and tactics.
This role is critical in supporting Operational Leaders to foster a positive culture through the development and retention of great people.
Your customer service mindset, proven success in Business Partnering, and collaborative approach will be critical to your success.
Responsibilities are broad and include:
Implementation of the People Strategy - Support Leaders with the implementation of organisational design changes.
- Provide input to the development of key people initiatives ensuring they are designed with the end user in mind.
- Support leaders to implement changes, ensuring a people-centric approach, ensuring consistency across the region.
Business Partnering - Support leaders with coaching conversations to foster a high-performance culture.
- Support leaders and the Talent Team with the attraction of talent.
- Support leaders with the annual cycle of people activities including Engagement survey and planning, annual performance, remuneration, and talent cycles.
- Provide sound advice in line with People policies and procedures, including the application of industrial instruments.
- Work closely with the Shared Services team to support accurate and timely actioning of onboarding, offboarding, and other changes to the employment contract.
- Review analytics to identify trends and develop solutions to address.
About you
What you'll need:
- Extensive experience in a similar role in a large, complex, global organisation.
- A track record in building relationships and partnering with the business to provide generalist HR services.
- The ability to work within a team and collaborate with others to achieve common goals.
- Experience interpreting Enterprise Agreements and Awards.
- Proven success in managing and influencing change.
- The ability to handle confidential and sensitive matters with objectivity and discretion.
- Qualification in Human Resources.
