The Gold Coast Private Hospital is seeking a Perioperative Services Manager (RN Level 4) to take on a leadership position within our busy perioperative department on a full time basis. Your clinical skills, excellent leadership capabilities and positive approach to work will ensure your success in the role.

With 22 operating theatres, Gold Coast Private Hospital offers a wide range of specialties including, but not limited to, 24/7 Emergency Care, Medical Services, Orthopaedics, Bariatrics, Neurosurgery, Plastic Surgery, ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat), General Surgery, Obstetrics, Cardiac Care, and Oncology.

As a Perioperative Services Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the operational delivery of exceptional, best practice care to ensure excellent clinical outcomes and an industry leading patient experience in the Perioperative Department.
- Involvement in strategic Perioperative business initiatives, working with the GM & BDM to develop and embed into the operational business.
- Fostering a Perioperative Culture & People Plan to meet the group objective of being an employer of choice.
- Utilising a coaching approach to develop high performing leaders and teams.
- Ensure the Perioperative Services meets its Operational, Clinical and Financial Key performance outcomes.
- Understanding of legislative requirements, ACORN and Sterilisation standards.
- Knowledge of accreditation processes and Quality/Risk management.
- Ensure workplace health and safety guidelines and policies are met.
- Maintaining effective relationships with major stakeholders.
- Ensure Theatre is run ethically and complies with policies, procedures and all legal requirements.
- Authority to Work in Australia.
- Post Graduate Qualifications in Perioperative Nursing, Business and/or Management (or working towards).
- Extensive senior nursing experience within the Perioperative unit.
- High degree of computer literacy including MS Office.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care.
