Job Title: Civil Project Manager

Our Client is a leading firm in the civil engineering industry specializing in the design, construction, and management of infrastructure projects. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget, and we are looking for a dynamic and experienced Civil Project Manager to join our team.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Civil Project Manager to lead and manage the planning, execution, and completion of civil engineering projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent leadership skills, and experience working with various stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all phases of civil construction projects from inception through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Coordinate and supervise project teams, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Review project plans, specifications, and designs to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and resolving any issues that arise.
  • Ensure that safety standards are maintained on-site and that all activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Liaise with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and effective collaboration.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and clients.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience (4+ years) as a Project Manager in the civil engineering or construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of civil construction processes, methods, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent).
  • Strong understanding of contract management, budgeting, and scheduling.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PE) are a plus.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with both large-scale and smaller civil projects.
  • Familiarity with local regulations, zoning, and permitting processes.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
