About the role To support Tactix-Sener's growing delivery requirements across the Property and Native Title portfolio, we are seeking a Property Advisor who has an interest in Native Title to join our team!
In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing and advising on property-related matters, ensuring compliance with Native Title legislation, and contributing to the successful delivery of our projects. You will collaborate with a dynamic team of professionals, providing expert guidance and support to our clients.
Role responsibilities - Assist with the management of Native Title and public land matters associated with project program of works for government and non-government clients, across a multitude of sectors.
- Provide research, advice and support on Native Title and public land matters including compulsory land acquisition, land tenure issues and property transactions such as negotiated acquisition, leases, licenses, permits and easements.
- Engage with authorities and other entities as required in collaboration with project and stakeholder engagement teams on land access, acquisition and other property matters.
- Maintain client and internal records and information management requirements.
About you - Experience in delivering property projects preferably in linear infrastructure projects or management of large scale, diverse property portfolios.
- Proven knowledge and experience in compulsory land acquisition and negotiated property acquisition and transactions, such as leases, licenses, permits and easements.
- Demonstrated experience in engaging with clients, communities, internal and external stakeholders, authorities, or other consultants, service providers and government landowners.
- Sound knowledge of planning and environmental approval legislation and processes in the context of major projects.
- Ability to build and manage relationships within internal and external stakeholders.
