The Project & Opportunity:
Acciona has been awarded the Design & Construct contract for the Singleton Bypass. This major project will see the construction of 8km of single lane highway with approximately 2.5 km of bridge structures and upgrades to local intersections. This diverse and challenging project has a 2-year construction program ensuring longevity in your role and presenting opportunities to grow within the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and implement project requirements according to specifications, codes, and standards.
- Monitor and report compliance with the Project Quality Plan, specifications, and field quality control procedures.
- Coordinate and conduct inspections as per Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
- Provide technical quality support to construction teams and ensure correct documentation in Work Packs and Requisitions.
- Maintain the calibration register and ensure calibrated measuring devices are available.
- Prepare and compile inspection records, ensure quality records are completed, and assist with the resolution of technical non-conformances.
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering (or similar).
- Well-developed MS Office skills, especially Excel.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Clear communication skills; adept at building relationships with diverse stakeholders.
