About the role
As a Resourcing Consultant in the Contract Team, you will play a crucial role in identifying, engaging, and managing top-tier contract candidates across both blue-collar and white-collar construction industries. Working closely with Recruitment Consultants, you will ensure a seamless recruitment process by sourcing, screening, managing onboarding and compliance, as well as maintaining strong relationships with skilled professionals.
Job Overview
- Source and attract high-quality contract candidates through various channels, including job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and networking.
- Conduct initial screening calls and interviews to assess candidate suitability for contract roles within the construction sector.
- Build and maintain strong talent pools for immediate and future contract placements.
- Manage all compliance and onboarding requirements including inductions, referencing, background checks, VEVO, medical & police clearance.
- Develop and nurture relationships with contractors, ensuring high levels of engagement and retention.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidates in the recruitment database (JobAdder).
- Work closely with the Contract Team to understand client needs and align candidate sourcing strategies accordingly.
- Assist with job advertisements, market mapping, and industry research to stay ahead of hiring trends.
- Provide a high level of service to candidates, ensuring clear communication and professional support throughout their contract placements.

Essential Experience- Previous recruitment experience within a fast-paced environment.
- Organised approach to work but with the ability to be agile as required in a fast-paced contract environment.
- Ability to work across varied job roles in both white- and blue-collar sectors.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build relationships across a wide network of candidates.
- Experience with CRM systems, JobAdder preferable but not essential.
- Full working rights in Australia.
