Your Future Role

The Account Director is responsible for leading a team of Business Advisors to successfully retain and grow a portfolio of existing SMB marketing services clients with a heavy emphasis on also scaling up our SaaS product to existing and new customers. This role provides support, coaching, development, and motivation for frontline staff to achieve revenue and sales targets (marketing services and SaaS). This role will manage a team of 12 Business Advisors working in Wollongong, Central Coast, Newcastle and Port Macquarie.

Your Responsibilities

This role will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Build, lead and motivate an agile, flexible, and world-class SaaS Sales team by using creative and innovative problem-solving skills and driving continuous improvement.
  • Recruit, train, develop and lead a growing team of SaaS Sales professionals.
  • Manage issues and queries from team members and the wider business, to ensure they are resolved quickly.
  • Provide data and reporting of KPI's and trends to National Sales Director.
  • Drive sales, expand the customer base and generate new revenue.
  • Develop and implement a scalable sales process.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement Business Advisor coaching plans.
  • Cultivate capability within the team, identifying and developing emerging leaders.
  • Ensure all information provided to team members is accurate and timely.

A Bit About You

  • Demonstrated strong track record of success within a face-to-face sales environment, particularly within small to medium businesses.
  • Strong knowledge of the marketing/advertising/digital/SEO and SaaS markets.
  • Previous leadership experience with a strong emphasis on the ability to motivate, inspire, coach, mentor and develop teams to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Highly motivated, driven and resilient; thrives on challenge and enjoys engaging colleagues to do the same.
  • Autonomous, diligent and organised, able to work in a range of environments on a mobile basis.
