We're ready for you! Join the largest general insurance group in Australia and New Zealand as a Customer Sales and Service Consultant.

Your Role

We have multiple opportunities forCustomer Sales and Service Consultantsto join our NRMA Insurance team. You'll be the first point of contact for our customers and will assist in the growth of our core business by actively promoting Insurance products and the benefits of those products.

Additionally, you'll provide quotes and facilitate new business sales, ensuring every interaction delivers an exceptional customer experience. On average, you can expect to handle between 20-30 calls per day, depending on the nature of the enquiries.

Successful candidates will work from our call centres located in Brisbane (Meanjin) withsomeflexibility to work from homeafter induction.

We finalise rosters 4 weeks in advance wherein candidates can choose to work either Monday-Friday or Tuesday-Saturday. Weekday shifts will be between 7am-8pm and Saturday shift will be between 7am-6pm.

The starting date for these positions will be 11th April 2025 with your IAG journey commencing with a comprehensive, 9-week induction (fully paid). Please note full commitment to the training period is essential and we will support with future career progression.

About You

  • Previous customer experience, for example, sales, hospitality, retail, and/or others
  • Ability to adapt and operate new technology and computer systems.
  • Well-developed rapport building, active listening, and effective communication skills
  • Expertise to effectively manage challenging customer conversations and resolve complaints
  • Demonstrate resilience in a complex environment and adaptable to change
  • Dedicated to achieving exceptional results while fostering a collaborative team environment.
