Security Engineer Tech Assurance Automation Our Cyber Technology Assurance team works with technology and business teams to help drive the secure evolution of the organisation.

What role will you play? In this role, you will be a member of an agile team empowered to transform how we manage vulnerabilities across Macquarie's IT environment. You will be involved in the design, implementation and evaluation of automated security measures which work to protect the organization's systems, networks, and data - securing them from potential threats, vulnerabilities, and unauthorized access.
What you offer - 4+ years Security Engineer experience or similar role
- Experience in assessing existing system or security infrastructure/application design and configuration to identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate those risks
- Sound theoretical background in security subjects, such as web application security, mobile security, infrastructure (including cloud and containers) security
- Experience working with public cloud technology (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Practical experience with developing in at least 1 programming or scripting language
- Experience in using RDS and non-relational databases such as MySQL.
