Job Details

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Senior Accountant to oversee financial operations, support month-end close, and ensure accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have experience in Shopify and NetSuite and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. This role will collaborate cross-functionally with finance, operations, and leadership teams to ensure financial integrity and drive efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
Manage revenue recognition and COGS accounting for both e-commerce (Shopify) and retail channels.
Reconcile inventory across multiple sales channels, ensuring accuracy in NetSuite and financial reporting.
Assist with financial planning, budgeting, and variance analysis to support business growth and decision-making.
Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure timely payments and collections.
Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and company policies.
Work closely with external auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners.
Support process improvements and automation initiatives within the finance function.
Collaborate with leadership on key financial insights and operational efficiencies.

What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA a plus).
5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in CPG, retail, or e-commerce.
Proficiency in NetSuite and Shopify (experience with payment processors like Stripe is a plus).
Strong knowledge of inventory accounting and revenue recognition for multi-channel businesses.
Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with evolving priorities.
Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
