The Opportunity Based in Brisbane, QLD, we are looking for an experienced Contract Administrator (Tier 2 or Tier 3) with 10+ Years experience. You will require strong leadership skills and be an independent thinker who can bring innovative ideas and strategies to the role.
We also encourage Tier 2 and Tier 3 Contract Administrators with at least 5 years experience to apply!
Reporting to the Director and Project Manager, this role is responsible for managing the procurement and administration of project works, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and contributing to project efficiency.
More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Managing procurement processes, including contract letting and purchase orders
- Coordinating subcontractor selection, tender analysis, and contract approvals
- Ensuring compliance with WHS&E requirements, including risk assessments and insurance checks
- Pricing, reviewing, and negotiating contract variations
- Maintaining project documentation and registers in Procore
- Managing construction programming and coordinating milestone delivery
- Assisting with project meetings, including minute-taking and document distribution
- Administering payments, progress claims, and cash flow updates
- Preparing and managing contractual notices, RFIs, and extension of time requests
- Liaising with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Ensuring accurate document control and distribution to relevant stakeholders
- Upholding Foresite Construction's values while fostering strong business relationships
What You Need To qualify, you will need a tertiary qualification in construction management or similar and a General Safety Induction Card (Blue Card/White Card). A proven track record of successfully delivering projects from start to finish will be considered essential, as will experience with Procore (document control and financial management).
Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:
- Strong understanding of Australian construction and maintenance services contracts
- Proven ability to resolve contractual disputes
- Excellent proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and MS Project
- Strong financial and commercial acumen
