Job Description The Vulnerability Management Information Security Engineer role will support the Australian Regulated Market as well as multiple environments.
Qualifications To excel in this role, you will bring:
- Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Vulnerability Management within enterprise-level environments, demonstrating a deep understanding of identifying and mitigating risks.
- 3+ years of experience working with general-purpose vulnerability scanners, with proficiency in utilizing various scanning tools to assess and enhance security posture.
- 3+ years of experience in Linux administration, with a strong ability to manage and troubleshoot Linux-based systems.
- A solid understanding of operating systems, networking protocols, and security fundamentals to effectively identify vulnerabilities and security gaps.
- Strong software development skills. Experience with Python and JavaScript is preferred.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) to help drive scalable and secure environments.
- A Master's or Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Highly Desired
- ServiceNow Administration experience, with the ability to configure and maintain the ServiceNow platform.
- Understanding of ServiceNow Vulnerability Response, including integrating vulnerability management workflows into ServiceNow.
Note: This position requires the Australian Baseline Security Clearance. If offered employment, you must be willing to complete and successfully pass the adjudication process. Australian citizens currently residing in Australia will be considered.
