Job Description

Opportunity snapshot:

Responsible for the analysis, design, coding and testing activities with an expectation of contributing to implementation activities.

An integral part of a cross-functional team, expecting to deliver high-quality applications built using .NET technologies that meet or exceed business and customer expectations. Contribute to development activities on .Net core applications and Azure.

Proficiency in implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using tools such as Terraform or Azure Resource Manager templates to automate provisioning, configuration, and management of Azure infrastructure resources.

Your Contribution:

  • Work on .Net Core API and React / NextJs web applications to deliver business requirements with high quality.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to automate provisioning, configuration, and management of Azure infrastructure resources, ensuring scalability, reliability, and efficiency in the deployment process.
  • Adopt a DevSecOps mentality and culture in implementing and maintaining applications in an enterprise environment.
  • Innovatively facilitate change: Think creatively for 'out-of-the-box' solutions and thrive on challenges requiring innovation.

Qualifications, training & Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in software development and 5+ years in API and integration.
  • Evidence of successful delivery of .Net core API, undertaking system analysis, solution (functional & Technical) design and feasibility activities.
  • Experience in front-end application development using React / Next Js.
  • Experience in test-driven development, writing unit tests and integration tests to ensure new and changed functionality does not impact existing functionality.
  • Experience with JWT token validation from both application and infrastructure/networking middleware perspectives (e.g. using APIM / AKS Istio).
  • Experience working with Microsoft Azure Platform, especially APIM, Azure Key Vault, etc. Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server and Entity Framework / EF Core for data access. Experience in working with containerized environments such as Docker and Kubernetes / Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS) for application deployment and orchestration.
  • Experience in implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices, automating provisioning, configuration, and management of Azure infrastructure resources using tools such as Terraform or Azure Resource Manager templates, ensuring efficient and scalable deployment processes. Experience in monitoring and supporting complex enterprise applications.
  • Good understanding and experience in implementing testable software using best practices and design patterns, hence developing high-quality code and regression tests that leverage existing Bupa code libraries, patterns and architectural techniques.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience in Mocking Frameworks and DI using design patterns, hence comfortable with ambiguity and can push forward with unproven ideas.
