As a Senior Staff Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance, and supporting strategic accounting initiatives. You will work closely with senior leadership, providing insights and financial integrity to a high-growth organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements, general ledger reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.
- Assist with external audits, providing supporting schedules and documentation.
- Manage payroll processing and support tax compliance initiatives.
- Analyze financial data and variances, providing actionable insights.
- Maintain the integrity of financial reporting systems and processes.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in accounting, with a preference for backgrounds in Big 10, Big 20, or a mix of public accounting and large-company experience.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.
