The ACVVS program is a great way for you to make a meaningful difference in the life of an older person.
From sport to art, pets to gardening, walking to yoga, baking to craft, movies to music, coffee to crosswords whatever you love, you can share it with someone who loves it too.
Spend time with an elderly lady living in her own home in Palm Grove; she would like to meet a Volunteer to chat with and share a love of music and art. You'll help provide companionship as well as maintain their healthy wellbeing as part of the Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme.
Your impact
Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

Requirements Ideally, you'll be available for 30 minutes for a weekly or fortnightly visit. We'd be happy to chat with you about a suitable day and time during the week between the hours of 9am-5pm.
