The HammondCare Volunteer program is a great way for you to make a meaningful difference to the life of an older person, right here in South West Sydney.
From sport to art, pets to gardening, walking to yoga, baking to craft, movies to music, coffee to crosswords whatever you love, you can share it with someone who loves it too.
As a Volunteer Social Visitor, you will provide companionship and meaningful social interaction for older people living in your community.
We are seeking caring and friendly individuals to volunteer for one hour visits on a weekly or fortnightly basis to aged care homes in the Revesby area. Come and share in quality conversation over a cuppa, play a game of cards, read a book/paper out loud or take a stroll in the garden while providing social support to an elderly person in care.
This opportunity is across care homes in the Revesby area covering areas of Padstow, Padstow Heights, Picnic Point and Panania.
