The Role
A permanent opportunity within the Digital & Technology team reporting to the Head of Digital Transformation & Architecture. You will be responsible for defining solution requirements and specifications by working closely with internal clients and stakeholders to identify their needs and define the technical requirements for new systems or applications. You will work closely providing technical guidance and support to developers, engineers, and other team members throughout the definition, deployment and development processes. This role can be based from any of our tech hubs across Sydney, West Perth, Melbourne, Geelong or Brisbane.
In this role you will:
- Develop Solution Architectures based on the requirements and specifications, inclusive of designing the required cloud and software components, and the related data flows.
- Identify potential risks and issues associated with the systems and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Select appropriate technologies and tools that will be used to build out the system or application.
- Collaborate with enterprise architects, developers and engineers to ensure that the system or application is developed according to the specifications and requirements.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to ensure that the system or application has been deployed as intended.
- Provide technical guidance and support to developers, engineers, and other team members throughout the deployment and development process.
Skills you'll bring:
- Minimum 3 years corporate solution architecture experience, ideally with exposure to Azure AAD, VM's, Networking, Storage, App Service, SQL, API Gateway and Data Lake.
- Cyber Security understanding and ability to craft solutions within cyber constraints.
- Desired experience working with corporate systems namely finance, HR, Procurement and others.
- Experience of delivering architecture services in a matrix organisation.
- Experience in developing strategies to improve cloud adoption, drive operational efficiencies, improve processes, and generally adopt a spirit of continuous improvement.
- Mentoring stakeholders through change and dealing with ambiguity.
- Compliance Requirement: Must be an Australian Citizen or a Permanent Resident.
