Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Supervisor for our Accounts Receivable (AR) Department. As a leader in the Accounting and Finance industry, our team is dedicated to delivering top-notch financial services. Our ideal candidate is a tenacious problem-solver with a knack for numbers and a passion for providing excellent financial leadership. This position requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in reconciling, GL, and entries.

Responsibilities:
As the Permanent Supervisor for our AR Department, your responsibilities will include:

1. Supervising and guiding the AR team towards achieving operational objectives.
2. Managing the complete AR process from invoice generation to cash collection.
3. Ensuring timely and accurate reconciliation of accounts.
4. Maintaining the general ledger (GL) and preparing necessary entries.
5. Conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
6. Identifying and implementing strategies to improve AR processes and efficiency.
7. Collaborating with other departments to resolve any financial issues and disputes.
8. Preparing and presenting regular reports on AR status to senior management.
9. Providing training, guidance, and support to team members to enhance their performance and development.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in an AR supervisory role, preferably in the Accounting and Finance industry.
3. Proven experience with reconciliation, general ledger (GL), and entries.
4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
5. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
6. Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
7. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
10. CPA certification is a plus.
