What Will You Be Working On?

We're looking for enthusiastic and energetic casual Swim School Instructors to join our team at the Armadale Fitness and Aquatic Centre. Your role will be all about inspiring confidence, creating memorable experiences, and helping students develop essential swimming skills in a safe, supportive environment.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Delivering professional, safe, and enjoyable lessons where students progressively learn to swim.
  2. Planning and reviewing lessons to align with RLSSWA and the Centre's Swim School curriculum.
  3. Assessing and tracking student progress in line with Swim School policies.
  4. Completing program administration tasks efficiently and accurately.
  5. Providing exceptional customer service to all patrons at the Centre.
  6. Actively contributing to the promotion and growth of aquatic programs, Centre activities, and events.

What Are We Looking For?

We're seeking individuals who are passionate about teaching and love making a difference in their community. To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  1. A current Austswim Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety qualification (essential).
  2. A valid Working with Children Check.
  3. Availability for morning, afternoon, and weekend shifts.
  4. The ability to obtain a current National Police Certificate.
  5. Previous swimming teaching experience (highly regarded but not essential - we welcome newcomers with the right attitude!).
