Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Tax Manager to join our team. In this role, you will manage tax engagements, mentor junior staff, and work directly with clients on various tax-related matters.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review tax returns and filings in a timely manner.
- Manage client relationships by addressing questions, providing advice, and maintaining regular communication.
- Lead and mentor team members to ensure quality results and professional growth.
- Work independently to handle projects efficiently, staying organized and meeting deadlines.
Required Qualifications:
- 7-8 years of continuous tax experience in public accounting.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Master's in Tax preferred).
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel.
- Strong client management and communication skills.
- Proven experience leading teams and working independently.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA certification.
- Familiarity with international tax, trust and estate tax, or high-net-worth individual tax.
- Experience using ProSystems FX and CCH Engagement software.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English.
