St Francis Xavier is a vibrant learning environment, catering for students in a co-educational setting from 3 Year Old Kindergarten - Year 6. The school is seeking an inspiring educator committed to fostering a love of learning, enhancing student engagement, and improving outcomes for all students. This role is temporary for Term 2 and Term 3 with the possibility of ongoing work.

Selection Criteria
  1. Able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum and Early Years Learning Framework and can apply this knowledge to challenge and engage learners.
  2. Display highly proficient communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to authentically nurture positive and respectful relationships with staff, students, and families.
  3. Possess excellent classroom management and organisational skills to create a supportive and safe learning environment.
  4. Demonstrate an excellent understanding of various assessment and reporting strategies and the requirement to provide effective and timely feedback to parents and students.
  5. A sound understanding of, and commitment to, the Church's mission in Catholic Education with a preparedness to be fully involved in the spiritual and community life of the school.
  6. Display a capacity and willingness to be a proactive member of a professional learning community and work collaboratively with all staff.
  7. Demonstrate a high level of expertise in integrating digital technologies to enrich teaching and learning experiences.
Qualifications Required
  1. Relevant four-year tertiary qualification.
  2. Accreditation to Teach Religious Education (or willing to work towards).
  3. TRBWA registration.
  4. Working with Children Check.
