Teacher of English Years 7-VCE

We are seeking an experienced and passionate English Teacher with a strong background in teaching the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) curriculum. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to fostering a love for English while preparing students for success in their VCE studies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plan and deliver engaging English lessons that align with the VCE curriculum.
2. Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and critical thinking.
3. Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their academic progress.
4. Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and materials.
5. Monitor and assess student performance, adjusting teaching methods as needed.
6. Stay updated with educational trends and developments in the field of English education.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Education, English, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
2. Valid teaching certification.
3. Proven experience in teaching English at the secondary school level, with a focus on VCE curriculum.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Strong organizational abilities and a commitment to student success.
6. Passion for creating a dynamic learning environment that fosters growth and exploration.
