Job Description

In this role, you'll:

  1. You'll manage a team of Senior Claims Advisors, Claims Advisors, and Staff support officers to ensure that self-insurance/ Treasury Managed Fund requirements are met and to minimise claims liabilities.
  2. You'll provide sound technical and injury management advice while driving the performance of the team to ensure the efficient and effective management of claims in compliance with NSW legislation, State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA), and Insurance & Care NSW (iCare) requirements.
  3. You'll coach and mentor members of the immediate Workers Compensation team and broader injury and Claims Management team and develop strategies to ensure capability to motivate and develop staff, to drive engagement and performance.

This is a Permanent position based in our Burwood Office. TfNSW Grade 7, $117,646 - $131,763.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. You'll have sound knowledge of workers compensation claims management processes, including knowledge of NSW Workers Compensation legislation and SIRA guidelines, and injury management advisory expertise.
  2. Understanding of Common Law claims (WPI WID) is highly desired.
  3. You must have people management/ Team leading experience within a similar environment.
